About Attentive.ai

Attentive.ai is a fast-growing vertical SaaS firm backed by leading global investors, including Insight Partners, Peak XV (Surge), InfoEdge, Vertex Ventures, and Tenacity Ventures. Fresh off our Series B raise and a proven foundation in our AI-based platform - Beam AI, we’re now expanding into a fully automated software ecosystem with AI-powered workflows for estimating, bidding, and improved collaboration for the construction and field services industries across the US & Canada. Our mission is to help businesses automate preconstruction workflows, improve operations, and drive revenue through simple, powerful, industry-focused products.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly proactive Assistant Manager - Event Marketing to lead and scale our events, webinars, and co-marketing efforts with partners. This is not a support role. You will own workstreams end-to-end - from large-scale industry conferences to monthly webinars to publisher and PR programs. This role is ideal for someone with 3-4+ years of hands-on experience in events and marketing operations - someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, makes sharp decisions under pressure, and brings both creative thinking and operational discipline. You'll bring complementary strengths to the team: deeper fluency in digital campaigns and marketing ops, stronger hands-on publisher and media relationships, and the experience to co-lead large-format events like our annual Convergence conference, our flagship customer event held in November.
Beyond external events, this role also covers our in-house event program - customer success events, customer roundtables, and company-hosted sessions facilitated both remotely and in person. These require a different kind of energy: less vendor coordination, more facilitation muscle, and close attention to the attendee experience from start to finish.
This role is right for someone equally comfortable with a spreadsheet and a tradeshow floor, who builds structure rather than just following it, and who takes clear ownership without needing to be chased. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, the Assistant Manager, the broader marketing team, and cross-functional partners to execute high-quality events, tradeshows, webinars, media opportunities, and PR programs - while continuously improving internal processes and elevating our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

Event Marketing & Tradeshows

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of tradeshows, customer events, and industry conferences - booth setup, vendor management, collaterals, shipping, and on-site support
  • Co-lead Convergence, our annual flagship customer conference - hotel blocks, Cvent registration, attendee communications, and run-of-show
  • Build and maintain event prep docs, timelines, and budgets; flag risks early and own post-event closure within 5 business days

In-House & Internal Events

  • Plan and facilitate Attentive-hosted events (customer roundtables, offsites, company sessions) in-person and remotely - agenda, coordination, platform setup, and post-event follow-up
  • Build repeatable run-of-show templates so these formats scale without starting from scratch each time

Webinars

  • Co-own the monthly webinar calendar, alternating full ownership - briefing, speaker coordination, platform setup, live execution, and post-event follow-up
  • Manage all assets independently; everything locked ≥1 week before go-live, follow-up deployed within 5 days of close

Gifting Program

  • Run and collaborate cross-functionally on the company's gifting motion with our dedicated onboarded gifting partner - coordinating requests, timelines, and delivery across teams to ensure a seamless client/customer gifting experience

Publisher, PR & Co-Marketing

  • Own 2–4 publisher and media relationships independently - timelines, materials, deadlines, and negotiations; zero missed deadlines is the bar
  • Evaluate media kits, execute co-marketing with partners, and support PR assets, pitches, and award submissions

Process & Program Management

  • Maintain trackers, calendars, SOPs, and budget logs across all programs
  • Identify and implement at least one process improvement that reduces team-wide friction

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-4+ years in event marketing, marketing operations, or B2B SaaS marketing, with a proven track record running tradeshows and webinars end-to-end - vendor management, logistics, and post-event closure
  • Experience with large-format event planning (conference, multi-day summit, or annual customer event) - including venue coordination, hotel blocks, and registration tools like Cvent
  • Comfortable facilitating both in-person and virtual events: agenda design, participant management, run-of-show, and live facilitation
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot and/or Mailchimp - campaign setup, segmentation, automation, QA, and reporting
  • Experience managing publisher or media relationships - negotiation, timeline management, and materials delivery
  • Strong project management instincts: builds timelines, tracks dependencies, spots risks early, and closes loops without follow-up
  • Clear, professional communicator - written and verbal; cross-functional and comfortable managing multiple priorities in parallel
  • High ownership mindset: proactive, solutions-driven, calm under pressure, and comfortable with ambiguity

Required Skills & Experience

  • Events & Webinars - Zoom, Cvent, Google Workspace
  • Digital & CRM - HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics
  • Comms & Collaboration - Slack, Google Drive, Notion
